Nose is pumpkiny with clear cinammon notes. Taste is sweet with some nutmeg and cinamon. Nose is much better than the taste on this one. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2008 [Bottle] Pours a hazy amber color with a white head. Aroma of ginger and nutmeg, without discernible pumpkin notes. Taste is quite spicy, which negates any pumpkin flavoring that might have been in here. Ginger, clove and sweet biscuit malts are the main themes of this beer. High carbonation level and medium palate. I was expecting a little more here. pantanap (1357), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2008 12oz bottle saved for me by my brother in law josh.....
pours a medium orrange brown with a thin wispy white head.....
less pumpkin aroma and more spice that centers around the clove and cinammon...
much too carbonated and way too light on the pumpkin. spices don’t play a prominent role as they did in the aroma. very little flavor overall.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2008 Trade from theisti - Thanks! Cloudy orange, thin ring of foam. Odd aroma - sourish, with lots of clove and cinnamon, with a touch of allspice, as well. Nicely tart, with a lot of the spices mentioned in the aroma. Some stale notes, too. Sweet at first, finishes nicely dry. Dezzilu (212), Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Aroma is distinctly peculiar, but with stronger notes of citrus then nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice amber color, but little to no head. Flavor was bland and uninspiring and finish didn’t sell me on this being a truly ’pumpkin beer’. This is a novelty beer that is only midly interesting in October. Weak. JaBier (1233), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Updated: Nov 1, 2009Pours a deep amber with a 1/2 inch head. Aroma of cinnamon and clove. Flavor very much the same with a good amount of clove and cinnamon. Very well spiced. Starts sweet and becomes slightly tart on the back end. Medium-bodied. Haven’t had much luck with organics, but this one was decent. UPDATED 11/1: Righting a wrong here. Tasted a bunch of pumpkin ales yesterday and this one of the best of the bunch. Seeing as I’m one of those weirdos who actually likes this style of beer, I owe it a higher score when stacked up with others. Bumping flavor and aroma up to 8 each (from 7) because they’re both nicely spiced without any unwanted notes in there (including an off finish on the flavor). | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours an average orange with a weak head and an aroma of pumpkin pie- nutmeg, coriander, and cinammon. Taste follows suit. Average mouthfeel. Not a bad pumpkin.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Bottle from pepsican. Thanks! Pours a hazy brownish orange with a decent head and sticky lacing. Aromas of spice, cinnamon, a good deal of clove which to me became a little fruity, and some pleasant sweetness as well. Flavors of sweet malts, spices, yeast clove, a touch of pumpkin spice. Drinks nicely, is smooth and pleasant, but not a top notch pumpkin beer.
