The aroma makes me think of peach scented shampoo. It’s quite pleasant but not something you’d expect to be drinking. The mouthfeel is light and thin with a crisp dry finish; nothing special, but quite refreshing. This tastes to me like a simple American wheat with peach nectar in it. It finishes fairly dry and a tad soap-like. If you’re looking for something light and fruity for a hot summer day, and you like peaches, give it try. xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Moderate pour in a weizen glass
Recent brewing, bitten into 05/07
Poured a murky orange gold with a small fizzy quickly diminishing head.
Smelt of moderate peach and flowery wheat.
Taste was upfront moderate bitter sweet and sour peach followed and perfumey hops followed by a light sweet candy peach and bitter doughy yeast on a short finish.
Palate was light bodied, watery, overly effervescent, and moderately astringent.
Overall, it’s not overly outstanding, although I am a huge fan of peaches. This is an average to below average beer, but extremely refreshing on a hot humid summer day. Strykzone (1475), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 12, 2007 I think this is the beer at the St. Louis Brewfest. Aroma was amazingly strong peach. It was as if a can of peaches had been opened. Very pleasant. First sip also featured strong peach flavors but that soon faded into a spicey flavor. However, it was a very pleasant beer. Didn’t get enough of the wheat flavors or aromas. ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany

A delightful peach beer! great aroma, flavor is peachy without tasting like a jolly rancher. refreshing beer with appropriate hops to give it some flavor mightiness. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 28, 2007 I was a little scared of this beer, but my previous experience with O’Fallon (their smoked porter and pumpkin beer) caused me to pick up this beer with no hesitation. And I was not disappointed, this beer is quite refreshing, even for those a little afraid of fruit beer.
It poured a hazy lemonade color with very good head formation (lots of it, tight bubbles, good durability). Aroma was a little off-putting; it was very fruity and a bit like an FMB. The smell was not refreshing and very much like canned peaches in syrup. Flavor was perfect; it was a wheat beer with peach flavoring, as advertised. Mouthfeel was light and refreshing. I was very pleased with this beer. demarsjoe (1), Saint Ann, Missouri, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Mar 23, 2007 the best summer beer. period. i was scared of a fruity beer but the peach is not over powering. it is almost just a little hint of peach with every taste. i love this beer and wish i could get it all year round. thank god its spring and i will be able to get it soon.
