argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Jan 18, 2006 (12oz bottle) Clear copper body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, light nutty, orange. Taste is mild sweet, caramel, earthy, some nutty. Light-medium body. Pretty non-descript. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 16, 2006 Pours a clear copper orange with an inch-thick, frothy off-white head. Sweet, lightly toasted crystal malty aroma has some mild earthy hop balance. Body has a good sugary caramel malty sweetness and some hoppy flavor toward a bittersweet, well-balanced finish. A very drinkable and good amber. I didn’t detect any diacetyl, but my bottle was from 2005. hopdog (4654), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 10, 2007 12oz botttle. Opened to a loud psst and was a light gusher. Poured a medium orange color with a very large sized off white head. Aromas of toasted nuts, light caramel, and some citrus. Tastes follow. As expected the body was over carbonated and thin. DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 23, 2008 Pours medium copper with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, mild hops, brown sugar, vinous fruit. Tastes citric, hoppy, with caramel malt and some nutty and red grapey notes. jjpm74 (3155), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Jan 3, 2006 Pours clean with a white head.
