Lots of oversteeped tea, tangerien peel, gritty resinous pond water, creepy crawly mouthfeel like its alive and squirming. A very strange brew. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Huge mega-hops, 100 IBUs, 8.4% this cask. Dark dirty brass color, bitter to no end. This was just missing a bit more malt balance (if even possible in a monster such as this) to join the ranks of Dreadnaught at the top!!! jazz88 (2238), San Francisco, California, USA

Great big hop monster that could pucker up the face of the most serious hop heads around. Nice light toasted malt finish with some sweetness and that huge hop bite. leave the malt out, then its just another barleywine. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Had this one while watching the NCAA Tourament. Dark golden color. Good beer to kick back and watch a game with.
