Commercial Description:
This foreign-style stout is similar to bottled Guinness; a big dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. Six different malts combine to create this fantastic stout that is layered with chocolate-like flavors. You like coffee, you'll love this beer.

Tap at Oggi’s Glendale AZ: Pours a silky black with a substantial gray head. Chocolate and coffee are present in the nose, but not strong. Feels smooth in the mouth, but not quite as dry as a Guiness. Very intense malty coffee flavor dominates the beer. It’s excellent when you’re in the mood for a rich stout.

On tap @ Oggis Mission Valley - Pours a dark brown color with a small off white head. Thick lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, light coffee and chocolate. Flavor is much of the same. Slight dry aftertaste. Medium body. A nice stout.

On tap @ Oggis Santa Clara. Pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is roasty and chocolate malts. Taste is well balanced. Chocolate, toffee, roast, a bit of hop bite. As it warms I get a hint of dark fruits. Nice beer.

Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Roastiness. Pours black. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, and some alcohol burn on the palate. Somewhat carbonated for a stout.

On tap at the Santee Ca, location. Dark chocolate pour with no head. Decent flavor of malt and barley, hints of coffee and chocolate. Very little burn as the alcohol is well hidden.

On-tap at Carmel Country Road. Black with some mocha head, lots of lace. Bitter, high carbonation. Dinkable, but this seemed like a Guiness clone. Roasted body, with coffee, very dry. Coffee grounds. Malts get it done, but just an average beer and below average stout.
