Commercial Description:
This foreign-style stout is similar to bottled Guinness; a big dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. Six different malts combine to create this fantastic stout that is layered with chocolate-like flavors. You like coffee, you'll love this beer.

Very dark brown. Chocolatey, coffeeish nose. Thick, rich flavour with a fudgey accent. Decent stout, not terribly foreign, maybe just American.

Black color. Light roasted malt aroma. The body is not so strong, it has a strong dark chocolate and roasted malt flavor, with light acidity from the roasted malt. Strong ending bitterness. Too much roasted for me.

2009-06-12, bottle, blind tasting at Papsø’s, 7-3-6-3-13=32
Black color; medium creamy head. Nice aroma, well combining coffee beans, chocolate, vanilla, cream. Medium-strong mouthfeel, roasted malt flavor, some chocolate, getting drier at the end, with a quite strong bitterness. The aroma is interesting, then the flavor gets more and more monothematic.
