Draft, consumed at Oggi’s Canyon Country 11/5/07. Clear pale yellow with average white head which faded normally. Nose is primarily sweet grain (corn). Flavor matches consistency: thin. Grainy, corny flavor with some sweetness finishes mostly clean with some residual malt lingering. No hop character to speak of. Not terrible, but no prize winner.

On tap at Oggi’s Vista. Light pale yellow color. A little sweet. No head. Very little carbonation. Watery. Maybe a little corn vegetable aroma, but no major off aromas. Drinkable, but bland.

Plastic bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange brown with a big fluffy bubbly head. Not much aroma, a very mild scent of pale malts. Creamy body and taste and light bitterness.

Tasted at Huntington Beach location - Absolutely nothing wrong at all with this beer. Beer is a light golden color, airy, fluffy white head with little retention. Aroma is subtle citrus and sweet malts. Crisp, smooth mouthfeel. Slightly sweet flavor, little to no complexity, and some yeasty character too. Nothing good or bad, just a nice beer to accompany a great pizza.

hazy dark yellow, wispy white head, streaks of lace, sweet malt aroma with a touch of corn and floral hops, creamy body, lightly sweet malt flavor, nice balancing hops, touch of spicy character from the hops,

1 pint plastic bottle, drank at the Padres vs Dodgers ball game at Petco Park. (Padres won 6-4) Did not get a good look at this beer since I drank it out of a brown plastic bottle. I shook it up and noticed a moderate head. Aroma was very faint and nutty. Flavor was of biscuits, yeast and a touch of hops. Mouthfeel was where this beer really fell apart, it was thin and watery. Finish was short and dry. Overall a good beer for the ballpark, but a very mediocre beer otherwise.

Plastic bottle w/ twist off cap. Pours a nice golden color w/ a shallow froth. Head retention is weak and possesses only a fine ring of residual lacing. Aromas of malts w/ slight biscuiting. Medium nectar w/ minimal effers that only show at mid palate. Mildly flavored w/ a moderate malt backbone. A really tasty biscuit nuance shows up early and stays through to the finish. The finish is bittered perfectly w/ an asprin twitch that digs in and leaves a numbing sensation. Not a bad session brew at all and I can’t tell it came from a plastic bottle. Take this one to the beach.

Draft at Oggi’s, Liberty Station Point Loma. Sweet fruity aroma. Golden color with a white head that ringed. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Seems a bit wheaty. Light stone fruit. Nice light level of bitter. Very drinkable.
