Pours a dirty orange color with a white head. Nose .... whew bandaids with some orange and yeast but man this is screaming with infection. The first flavor on this is orange and dirty but it fades to a citrus dry/tart finish (probably from the infection) that i’m actually enjoying. But even with that I can’t drink half a bottle of this. Aroma of earthy, grainy toasty malts with a touch of mild hops. Body starts slightly malty and sweet with some earthy grainy notes with a touch of mild coriander and yeast. riversideAK (2761), Shoreline, Washington, USA

Beer is gold and bubbly with no head, but it was a bar pour. Flavor is initialy crispness followed by some nie sweet malt and maybe a little grain, but in a good way. Easy to pound. Obviously a seque beer for those who are unfamiliar with micros. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Draught pint at Vista on 3/24/07 Large white head is well-retained, with sparkling carbonation in the clear, sunny-yellow beer. Minimal lacing. Crisp, aromatic malts in the nose do most of the work, while there is just a hint of peachy fruit ester, very reserved, in the background. It works well as a balance to the grainy maltiness. Softer ale yeast notes provide light minerals and just a touch of dough. Hops are soft and floral, wouldnt have guessed sterling, but something like very fresh, liberal EKG (sterling is close, I guess). Not as much citrus as I’d expect from Sterling (they usually give a nice non-bitter, lemon-lime note). Importantly, no flaws of any kind with a generally high aroma strength. Crisp, kolsch-like malts have a touch of paperiness to them, but are more or less quite pleasingly crisp. Dry grains, with a hint of honey and just a touch of bitterness. Some light nectarine/peach esters and a very well-carbonated, yet not sharp mouthfeel that was quite quenching. Fruitiness grows as the beer warms, as does the hop flavor. Quite pleasant, and maybe just a bit more softness on the palate from some different malts (the vienna gives it too much of a toasty/bready edge) would be beneficial. Nice one. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Malty and toasty aroma with a mild sweetness. Grainy. Sweet malt flavor with a semi-dry bitter finish. alexanderj (2269), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 9, 2007 Oggi’s Corona. Not too creamy of a mouthfeel, but about right taste wise. Aroma also not great, too much corn. Still, not very bad due to a pretty good flavor. Sammy (4030), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 9, 2007 Cloudy gold with a bit of head. Bubbly and lace. A bit watery, well carbonated. I do not get a creamy mouthfeel, consistent with the syle. That beer cheese smell. Not bad bitterness, using sterling hop. anaheim1983 (111), Anaheim, California, USA
