| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2006 Pours to a light clear goldish straw colored body with a white head. The aroma is your typical cream ale. Creamed wheat/grains. Kinda similar to New Glarus Spotted Cow. The flavor is creamy toffee, lightly husky. Honestly, not as bad as it is rating... Very drinkable. The palate is medium-light bodied. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA

This beer is a brilliantly clear, pale straw-gold color, it is topped by a frothy, white head that just barely rings the sides of the glass. The aroma has some slight herbal notes, some grassy grain notes and a sort of green-grape fruitiness.
The beer finishes with a creamy mouthfeel to it. This is accompanied by a lingering grain-like note. The beer is lightly sharp up front with a bit of spicy hop character and a biting note that is a combination of carbonation and hop bitterness. The beer is quite thin overall, which makes it quite refreshing. I could see myself drinking a couple of these on a hot day. This is a pretty standard example of a Blonde ale, definitely a step up from the BMC crowd. This is actually a pretty solid Blonde, but alas it is really not by bag. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 10, 2005 This beer poured a pale yellow color w/ a slight haze; slight head and lacing. The aroma had very light citrus, light fruit and it was dry to the nose. The flavor had a slight buttery-ness, citrus, and muskiness. The mouthfeel was light w/ no carbonation. Now, I must add that this beer was a cask ale that was dry-hopped. Not very impressive. zug4abby (287), San Diego, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Pale yellow in color and with a taste to match. Not bad, but nothing big, special or otherwise standout about this beer. Great for the friend who tags along and has no idea about beer or thinks they don’t like beer. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 13, 2005 Draft at Oggi’s Santee. Poured blonde yellow. Nice head that left pretty good lacing. Very Clear Very Fresh. Aromas of yeast and not much else. Flavors were about the same. Some slight hoppiness on the finish but again nothing to get too excited about. Not too bad if you WANT to drink something that is plain and easy to drink.
