argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Sep 6, 2002 Light golden, exceptionally clear. Wine-ish aroma. Light lager-like flavor mixed with grape/wine. Almost no aftertaste. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 5, 2007 Bottle sampled on 3/14/07: Pours a clear pale golden with a thin wispy white head. Aroma of earthy, grainy toasty malts with a touch of mild hops. Body starts slightly malty and sweet with some earthy grainy notes with a touch of mild coriander and yeast. hopdog (4654), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 2, 2004 On tap at Oggi’s in Escondido. Poured a light, clear yellow with almost no head. Light spices and citrus. Nothing real special. The least favorite of the 7 Oggi’s beers I had tonight. hopscotch (4591), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 5, 2002 This beer rocks.
Probably the best "lawnmower beer" I’ve tasted. The aroma is very faint, but is moderately malty and just slightly hoppy. I also detected a pad of butter in the essence. It has a clear, flat, medium golden hue with a small, frothy, white, fully diminishing head and fair lacing. The flavor starts lightly on the bitter side and then is moderately malty and lightly bitter on the back side. Short finish. Medium bodied with a dry, lively mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this beer. It’s a cream ale.
