On tap, Oggi’s Vista: Imagine a hefe-weizen with some cinnamon added for complexity. That’s what this brew is, and for me, it worked. I enjoyed it.

A very good beer this is. Light brown in color with an attractive head of foam. Lovely spicy aroma, accenting cinnamon and coriander as well as hints of toasted malts and yeast. Lovely spice influence in the flavor (coriander, cinnamon), with a light and fruity malt flavor. A pretty tasty and unique Belgian style beer. My favorite from the visit.

(Draft: Oggi’s in Vista, CA) Belgian style brown, very spicy, with a huge cinnamon flavor, plus coriander and Belgian yeast; Moderate honey sweetness complements the spices nicely; Only mildly bitter; Lightly spicy nose, which is surprising considering how spicy and flavorful the beer tastes; Gorgeous red mahogany in color; Medium bodied, pretty clean on the palate, and with a very carbonated mouthfeel; Tan head settles to a sheen fairly quickly, but maintains a thick ring, plus leaves a fair amount of lacing

nice amber color, and when you look down into it from above it starts yellow at the top, blending to amber like a sunset..with thin whispers of clouds above...yeasty aroma with definite coriander, cinnamon, and other spices..faint alcohol fumes too. Big cinnamon-spice flavors around a firm yeasty background..nice spritzy carbination..pretty good beer for what it is, although the spices get a tid bit plasticy.

This brew pours with a deep amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is sweet, cinnamony and malty with a slightly wierd undertone. It smell's like suntan lotion. It tastes just like it smell, not good. Medium bodied and smooth with a slight warmth.

Medium brown color. Medium head. Aroma is orange fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied ale. Medium sweet and slightly spicy. Lots of different spice flavors in this one, but they are not overpowering. Makes for an interesting taste. Very smooth. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
