(The Edgar Wallace, cask) Dark amber color, small off-white head, some lace. Caramelly, hard toffee aroma. Caramelly-nutty flavor. Very weak palate - otherwise quite ok. Short nutty hoppy and toffeish finish.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale brown colour with brief head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with dark fruit, caramel, toffee, butter, dusty hops and a touch of orange. Light body, balanced sweetness. Decent, but leaning in the boring direction.

Yeah it’s okay....i’ve just had brewers gold so everything is a bit of a downer now....cascade hops apparently but i’m not sure if they’re used in the right way, not much aroma and not much flavour really, good malt background but really misses the flavour of a really good hop!

Amber color, still. Initially the aroma shows some good hop, but it quickly disappears. Very light caramel flavor, soft mouthfeel also because of the missing carbonation, correct bitterness. Absolutely anonymous.

Nice amber color. Simple Bitter, reasonable caramel flavor and bitterness, too light aroma (maybe a bit floreal), but also a light metallic touch. Too easy.

Handpulled cask at JDW St. Albans during summer. Copper with off white head. Malty with citric fruitiness but lacking in hop finish.
