Surprisingly hoppy aroma is bursting with citrus hop character and fruity esters with some underlying caramel malt. Hazy golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a very fine partial cover. Strong citrus hops are immediately notable and bitterness is quite pronounced. In the aftertaste the bitterness lingers but also a pleasant grainy malt and lightly tart wheat flavour is revealed. Very dry and light in body with lively carbonation that engages the tongue. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (BB 12/12/08?, Bièropholie, Jun-05).

Bottle--Cloudy gold color with a frothy white head. The large head reduced and lacing was left on the sides of the glass. The aroma is citrusy hoppy smell with a touch of grains underneath. The taste was mellow and without much of the wheat trademarks. The citrus touch did catch the tongue.

Hazy gold. Large, foamy, white cap. Nose of flowery citrus perfume, grains, and sweet light fruits. Same flavors with a touch of sharp botanical added. Medium, well carbonated body. A bit too well carbonated. Crisp and refreshing for the warmer months.

Here’s a good quencher. The body is a slightly hazy, bright yellow capped by a dense, creamy head that heavily laces the glass. Beneath a lightly floral, perfumy aroma is wheat and a twist of lemon. It’s got quite a lively mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet wheat with a light lemon tartness. Crisp, snappy finish. This is a good one for the coming Summer.

Cloudy yellow honey hue, with a frothy white head, with a flowery hop grassiness accent, with some piney notes, hint of citrus fruits, and wheat, plus a discret coriander spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty wheaty character, zesty floral hop grassiness, with some piney notes, hint of citrus fruitiness, leading towards a dry hops bittering finish.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London 22 Apr 2006) Golden yellow colour with hints of orange. Fruity nose with citrus (lemon) and some sweetish wheat character. Fruity taste with sweet hints of peach and mandarin, some fruity hops in the finish. Light body. Refreshing and summery!

hoppy perfume aroma. orange color with an enormous, foamy, long lasting white head. very light bodied. lots more hops than expected. great crisp peachy flavor which is its best character. very mild all around. more like a pale ale than a wheat beer to me. too light on the malts.

Lemony aroma. Okay flavor, but I’ve had wheat beers I enjoyed a lot more. Nothing really struck me as special with this beer.
