(bottle - 500 ml) Slightly cloudy yellow color with a mound of fizzy white head. Very spicy and grainy aroma with some hints of lemon and other citrus fruits. Taste starts out very spicy with a grainy and wheaty middle and a very spicy and citrusy finish. The finish is almost bitter and a little metallic. Pretty watery.

Cask (gravity) at the Brunswick festival, 2005. OK-ish with washy lemon flavour and a little wheat leaking through.

Golden clear wheat with a thin white head. Light lemony malt aroma. In mouth, crisp malt with definite lemon drops, light hops, sustained dry mouthfeel, a bit astringent. Im not a fan of this style.

Aroma is light perfumed, citrus peel and spices, reminds on a belgian wheat. Hazy yellow color. Light grapefruit and spicy flavor. Quite interesting, but then a boring, dry and light bitter end. Thirst quentching but too light bodied.

1. Cask Handpump at the Beer House, Manchester 19/06/2001 Smooth on the palate and slightly pale. Some wheat flavour in the finish. 2. 500ml Bottle 11/06/2007 as Double Champion Wheat Beer Fruity aroma. Small white head. Some carbonation. Golden and slightly hazy in appearance. Fruity and smooth on the palate. A little dryness and bitterness in a wheaty lasting finish.

Poured from the bottle, a slightly cloudy pale yellow with a large frothy head. A spicy citrus wheat aroma. Very citrus (oranges) and spicey in the flavour. A quite smooth palate for a wheat beer, with a nice effervescent aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. My second cracking O’Hanlons beer in a week following the Port Stout. Cloudy gold with thin white head. Lemon, cereal and well chosen hops on the aroma. Good in mouth, not overly fizzy, good depth of flavour. Nicely fragrant on the end. Touch of peachy fruit too. Good wheat beer.
