Bottle, bought at LIVA, Kolding. Pours very hazy pale neon-ish yellow. Small, creamy, white head. Okay duration. Aroma is wheaty, lots of citric and pine hops with some bready malts as well. Lowish carbonation, a thin-ish mouthfeel. Flavour is fine. Some fruitiness and wheat with subdued hoppiness and dryness. A tad dull.

Handpulled cask at JDW Harrow. Pale clear gold with a thin white head. Refreshing and citrus in wheat beer style but rather bland.

Blond color, thin head. I can’t find wheat presence here; it’s mild, simple, but with some light fresh aroma, citrusy, with some malt flavor (almost crispy) and a quite strong bitterness. Drinkable.

labeled as double champion wheat. hazy yellow color, frothy white head, a bit of lacing. grass, sweet malt in the nose. flvor is caramel, cream, corn. oily mouth feel, creamy finish.surprisingly enjoyable, although a bit creamy-sweet for my taste, all that being said, i’d drink this double dog wheat again.

The aroma is very sweet - a pleasant surprise considering most wheat beers I’ve had. Yeasty too, and bready. Gorgeous frothy head. The flavor is a little more malty than other wheat beers I’ve had. A little thin in the finish, which is also slightly sour. A drinkable beer, but not great.

I would call this a pale wheat ale. 16.9 oz bottle, labeled Double Champion Wheat, produces a slightly hazed, yellow gold body and skimpy white head. Subtle aroma of lemon candy and toasted wheat. Light medium body is well carbonated. Taste is well balanced between lemony bitterness and wheat cracker maltiness. Clean and refreshing but pedestrian.

Appearance: Cloudy greyish orange. Lots of white head, longlived. Aroma: Citrus and hops, some spices and wheat. Taste: Lots of hops and wheat. Lemony. Quite bitter aftertaste. Info: 500ml bottle, 14/8-2008, 197/500
