I usually stay away from wheat beers, but this one is good. surprisingly. Look slike wheat beer so no poitns there - thick, stagnant looking thing.
No dey - this is a good drop. joergen (8610), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Very slight on the wheat, amber-ish in appearance, little bland, more like a bitter. Refreshing, uncomplicated and drinkable though. Just lacks a little flavour and excitement for me. KimJohansen (7049), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2008 Bottle. Nice brass pour, some yeast turbitdy not German at all. Hoppy nose, with some repressed yeast fruitiness. Spicey hop entrance turns to citrus rind, not really getting any wheaty malt character. Refreshing in it’s own right. Hop redidues linger the sides of your tounge and the roof of you mouth and continue after the bubbles have subsided. Another sip is in order. yespr (12175), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours cloudy yellow with a fully diminishing and then lacing white head. Mild yet nicely hoppy aroma. Sweet flavour with a light hoppy fruit note. Ends mild fruity and light bitter. This beer obviosly hold more hops that wheat, I assume the wheat is there for the body and not aroma nor flavor. Simple, yet nice and refreshing.6-3-6-3-12=3.0
From cask at Charlies. Pours cloudy to hazy yellow/orange with a lacing off-white head. Hops fruity and vague estery aroma. Flavour starts sweet hops fruity and gives away a mild ester wheat note. Goes slight bitter. Lingering fruity and biter dry finish. A bit flat.7-3-7-3-13=3.3 nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2008 500 ml "Double Champion Wheat" version, bb 02 19 09. Hazy gold with a small, but lasting head that leaves some crusty sugar lace on the glass. Aroma of earth-spiced apple, slight citrus and bubblegum. Tastes of not-too-sweet bubblegum, whole grain bread, and citrus-grass bitterness. Light body is pleasantly soft on the carbonation, dry, and has some acidic tongue tingle. Very nice golden/wheat summertime brew.
