Cask, Market Porter. Light gold, thin white head. Nose is demerara sweet malt and butter. Finishes sweet and toffee, with some butter tablet.

Cask@MarketPorter. Butter and fruit aroma. Yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, butter, malts but that’s it.

500ml bottle. Pours a slight hazy, straw colour with very little head. The aroma and flavour are both quite muted, not help by the short finish. Pretty sweet but with some hoppy hints. Refreshing, but comes across as a standard wheaty summer beer and I was suprised to read the bottle and see it was a double award winner. Probably best consumer outside on a hot summer’s day!

Appearance: yellow slight turbid. Little head, low persistency, and of with color. Aroma: floral and fruitiness, something artificial. Aniseed and vanilla notes; lightly citric like lemon, other sweet-fruits such as peaches, pears and banana. Malty and yeasty. Flavor: too malty and yeasty; citric-fruitiness of lemons, grapefruits and green apples; sweet-fruitiness of peaches, apricots and pears. Floral and herby finish, with medium and persistent dry-hoppy. Palate: light body, watery texture. Low carbonation. Something artificial odor, nice hoppyness. Thanks to <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/View-User-49371.htm&g and your friends of the ACCCA for to allow me tasted this beer with them.

Careful pouring produces a straw yellow pint with a medium white head. Aromas of caramelised summer fruits. I can taste the pale malt and hops but I did not get "orange, lemon and spices", as the bottle label would have it. A pleasant dry crisp finish but quite thin on the palate - I like a little more body. A fair pint but nothing special.

Bottle. Yellow with wheat beer’s strong white head and cloudy appearance. Aroma of hay and cloves. Flavours of yeast and citrus with a dry finish. Refreshing.

Cloudy gold with a very large white head and aggressive carbonation after opening. Spicy hop aroma; later a floral sweetness developing. Fruity orange flavour, slightly soapy. Some yeastiness. Dry finish. Good on a hot day.

From a brewey that has produced some lovely beers this was truely dissapointing. A cloudy orange appearance with some bitterness it tastes more like an experiment to cross a wheat beer with mud. Not nice but I still have happy memories of their other beers.

Very lively on pouring with strong citrus flavours.A little thin but overall quite well balanced.
