Aroma is a a little hoppy with a solid malty backbone. A citrusy note prevails over touches of anise, wheat, herbs and grass. Subtle english hops, soft but pleasant.
Flavor is nice, semi-bitter, herbal with notes of citrus, herbs, mint, anise and passionfruit. Refreshing and agreeable.
Soft, thin mouthfeel, medium carbonation. A balanced, refreshing drink. Finish is medium leaving a cereally aftertaste. Good beer. berkshirejohn (1831), Bracknell, Berkshire, England

Straw coloured with a creamy white head; clean in the mouth, grainy and slightly sour with a citrus edge; a biscuity finish with slight rounded bitterness. Hazy gold with bubbly white head, leaves good lacing. Strong, sweet citrus aroma, Flavour orangey with Cascade hop tang. Mouthfeel spicy, light and refreshing. Great summer beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 9, 2007 ordinary beer aroma that reminds me of sloppy joe’s bar in key west and sightly lemony (not particularly a compliment). gratefully the tastes are better. beer is thin as is the white foamy head. body is good although grainy. light clove taste and easy alcohol profile makes this a -good choice- for a summer beer. i would say the tangy and crisp claims are quite true. good beer. there is a hop bitterness that stays thru the mouthful but properly leaves soon after the gulp. johninmelb (695), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Bottle. Nose is citrussy and fresh with a gentle grassy note. Pours slightly cloudy gold with a mildly persistant fluffy white head. The citrus Imainly orange) carries through into the flavour, attributable to the wheat no doubt. The mouthfeel is satisfying and thirst quenching with an unimposing hoppy finish. Let down by being slightly watery, and I wouldn’t call it a bitter, but generally this is a very satisfying blonde ale. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, golden yellow orange body with lots of big bubbles all over and a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Wheat aroma with a touch of lemon citrus and a hint of hops in the aftertaste. Light body. Like a strong tonic water, nice. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England

50cl bottle from Whole Foods. So close to being glorious but the lovely spicy nose full of Belgian type sweet & hoppy notes out does the milky and off taste dramatically. Eventually the finish puts it all back on line with some tangy hops and creamy malt. By then however the damage is done. Shame, its almost great. cbeers21 (585), Miami, Florida, USA
