Lightly grainy, toffee-ashy-malty flavor with mild bitterness and some dry oaky notes. Medium-bodied, medium-carbonated palate. A decent, but not very interesting brew. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2007 beer looks good, dark brown and hazy. giving one to anticipate good things. beer is tea like with a straw character and moderate and overly subdued hop and fruit component. brew is creamy and a touch slick with receding head. i suppose a touch of sweetness that certainly is more caramel or toffee. a bit better than decent. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel

A very fruity, flowery beer with an great English hop finish. Romantically this is the way I thought all the bitters would be when I came to England but sadly they weren’t.
