DSG (1501), Tel Aviv, Israel Oct 9, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber color with a medium, creamy, long-lasting, beige head. Malty aroma with some hops, some nuts, mild fruitiness, and light toastiness. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit of caramel, a bit of biscuits and slightly bitter finish. Rounded and medium-bodied. Not bad. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Oct 2, 2007 Bottled@SBWF 2007

A very fruity, flowery beer with an great English hop finish. Romantically this is the way I thought all the bitters would be when I came to England but sadly they weren’t. Only 175 of MJ’s Classic 500 Brews to go. Quack-Duck (3122), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany Sep 23, 2007 bottle. Copper colour, impressive and very persistent head. Lovelly aroma of wild berries. Fruity and malty flavours, hints of orange. Well-rounded with flowery hops. Long-lasting bitter-sweet aftertaste, again with hints of orange.
