This is the same as the pale ale, as it’s labelled in the US, to appeal to that market. It is a bitter, and a very good one. A fruity tasty bitterness, greapefruit from Challenger and Goldings hops and lots of good comlex malting. Smooth, great lacing. Strong on the palate.

16.9oz bottle. pours about like a nut brown with a ruby presence. head is quite firm, with nice retention. smells pleasant. i’m beginning to think they’re going for a darker pale here. hops on the nose, as well as a field of wheat and a little malt. tastes of caramel, hops (can taste the Golding hops), and finishes with a lingering apple taste and a seperate slight bitterness. well balanced, tasty, and drinkable. noticable lacing as well here. nothing bad here, though it’s not extremely discernable either. happy drinking!

Bottle. Deep amber colour with a small mostly diminishing white head. Aroma of fruit, toasty maltiness, bit of spices. The flavour is crisp with a lot of hops and malt, caramellic and fruity ending with a nice bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a darkish copper body with a small white bubbly head. The aroma consists of toasted caramel and light tangerine and oranges. Clean breadiness with fruit tartness. Reasonably attenuated with some cereal substance. Average.
