Jan 8, 2006 Bottle conditioned. Clear darkish brown colour with a slim off-white head. Aroma is malty and big floral hops plus some citrus fruit in the background. Nice mix of malt, hops and fruit in the taste. Medium bodied, lively mouthfeel. Well balanced and interesting. Very good.

Jan 3, 2006 500ml - Best Before 022805 (Secret Santa cousin Rich) - Aroma is floral hops, citrus, and carmel malt. Pours copper with a huge head and great lacing. Flavor is a bit bland, more malt than hops, but the hops are still there. Palate is flat and watery. This one was still drinkable but I wonder what a freshy would score...

Dec 15, 2005 Bottle. Amber with a small off-white head. Aromas are sweet toffee and caramel malts. Fruity with gentle hopping. Flavours are soft malts, especially caramel, with some fruit and yeast. Slightly sour with hints of chocolate. Has light grapefruit bitterness towards the finish. A good malty beer.
