beer looks good, dark brown and hazy. giving one to anticipate good things. beer is tea like with a straw character and moderate and overly subdued hop and fruit component. brew is creamy and a touch slick with receding head. i suppose a touch of sweetness that certainly is more caramel or toffee. a bit better than decent.

Amber golden with a thin white head that is shortly lasting. The nose is light flowery hops and not to harsh but smoothe and filling. The taste has hops in it but not so bitey and very drinkable. I am honest with myself in saying that I liked this BECAUSE it is lighter in the hops and not too overpowering.

Medium amberish w/a short lived off white head of tiny bubbles! Sweet malty aroma w/an herbal hop on first sniff. Hop aroma becomes more floral as it warms and also becomes more caramelly and toasty malt. Also lightly nutty! Flavor is bitter with a nice malt back bone. Light caramel and toasty, very light roast and has a dry finish. Not terribly complex, but a nice session beer. Medium bodied w/ low carbonation, however it's sort of prickly on the tongue, otherwise fairly smooth

500 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temp. in a tulip glass. DE07/07

App.: Medium copper, clear, large off-white head. Aroma: Some caramel/toffee and dried fruit notes beneath a vail of organic acids – seemingly lactic and acetic (uh-oh), light nuttiness and piney hops, biscuit and bread crust, light citrus notes. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Fairly fruity, very light bread crust/biscuit, citrus hops; dry, a little tangy with a fair hop bitterness.

The acidity was troublesome and dragged the experience down for me.

Bottle: Decants a murky amber ale in the glass with a smallish sticky cap that laces well. Aromas of succulent fruits and musty earthy tones and some caramel. Flavor gives a dry impression spiked with juicy fruits and some nut-tobacco-earthy-musty tastes riding on crystal malts..finishes a tad bitter but with a very soft palate. Decent quaff!

Bottle. Murky copper, nice cloudy pale head. Mildly caramel malty nose, dried ginger, apple. Flavor is apple pie, spices, bitter orange, dull earthy bitterness. Very stuffy. A bit watery palate. Not really my thang.

500ml brown bottle. Orange brown colour with a rocky frothy beige cap. Aroma of sweet citrus hops. Flavour is fruity pale malts with citrus accents. Dry end. Medium body with relaxed carbonation. Good session ale.
