| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2004 Lots and lots of beige foamy head. I mean a whole lot. Murky orange body. The aroma is quite hoppy, soem light citrus along with a raisiny maltiness. It has a certain dusty aroma I usually associate with lambics, It is in no way overpowering or unpleasant just a bit unusual given the style. Interesting spicy flavor that I was not expecting. The fruity hops are in there also, but not much else. Dry bitter palate and finsih. The overcarbonation lends in the overly bitter mouthfeel I think. I think my bottle is slightly off, though not outright bad. Will have to try this one again. jimhilt (1689), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
