Copper in colour with a creamy white coloured head, good retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is of caramel malts, light citrus, biscuits and floral hops. The flavour is very light, some light citrus hops, light caramel sweetness, various fruits. Very lightly bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes thin, bitterness starts to pick up, lightly sweet, lingering.

Sort of lackluster, lightly bitter, starts off slow but it picks up in the finish.

500ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.
Opened on December 13, 2007.
Best before April 3, 2009.

Bottle. Pours a darkish copper body with a small white bubbly head. The aroma consists of toasted caramel and light tangerine and oranges. Clean breadiness with fruit tartness. Reasonably attenuated with some cereal substance. Average.
Tasted at Smokeless Joe in Toronto on January 19, 2007.

(500ml bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store on Cambie in Vancouver, for $4.93. Pours a highly active cabonated copper body with a lasting almond-coloured head. Nose of British caramel malts and nail polish. Flavour is very strongly malted and the finish is bitter. Average.

Hazy amber, nice offwhite head. Aroma brings touches of citrus and some floral notes. Flavor is floral with citrus and some sweeter fruits.

Lots and lots of beige foamy head. I mean a whole lot. Murky orange body. The aroma is quite hoppy, soem light citrus along with a raisiny maltiness. It has a certain dusty aroma I usually associate with lambics, It is in no way overpowering or unpleasant just a bit unusual given the style. Interesting spicy flavor that I was not expecting. The fruity hops are in there also, but not much else. Dry bitter palate and finsih. The overcarbonation lends in the overly bitter mouthfeel I think. I think my bottle is slightly off, though not outright bad. Will have to try this one again.

Pours a three finger off-white head that fades to a thin layer leaving a little lace. Almost clear, amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Woody apple nose. Starts nearly balanced with moderate hops, finish is distinctly hoppy but not as harsh as American pales. Tastes fresh even with a best before Feb 28, 2005. $3.69 for a 500ml bottle from Lina’s Beverages Painesville, OH.

Copper with off-white head. Malt and hops to the nose. Good body. Nice bitterness in the flavor. Good but not distinctive.
