Amber colour with a generous, rocky head. It is malty and slightly grapefruity bitterness. Very pleasant beer.

This is very floral, very orangey, very sweet in the aroma, and very fresh. I love it. Cloudy bronze. Great massive head. It is a tad watery, but the bitter flavors mix in with the orange rind, then there's some other fruit rind like watermelon, then, well, it's nicely balanced. I really liked this although it seemed fruitier than other bitters, with unusual qualities.

Deep amber with a nice, golden head and good lace. The aroma is perfumes and fruity and i get a note of resin. The mouthfeel is smooth. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, fruit (peach, lime and others), very light sweetness and a nice bitter finish. A really nice beer.

Bottle. Pours an orangish iced-tea color with a fast-rising off-white head that eventually deflates to a reasonable size. The aroma is sweet, woody, and a bit floral. The flavor is wood and grapefruit up front, then a tour of various malts, then some floral honey sweetness, then a warm and smooth hop finish. Not the kind of thing I would drink for leisure, but this would be excellent with some good food.

From bottle. Deep amber colour. Decent frothy white head. Nice malt aroma with hops and sweet brown sugar. Rich flavour of fruit. Wood, malt comes through. Tasty quality beer.

500ml Bottle: Pours orange/amber in colour, very thick and foamy off-white head with great lacing and retention. The aroma is mild, sweet, and grassy, pale hops. The taste is initially strange only because it’s so light and watery, albeit not in a bad way. It’s very refreshing, with a good touch of bitter hops. A bit bready and dry, but goes down smooth and easy. I actually quite like this one, I can imagine it would be incredible as a summer refresher. Too bad we got it in the winter.

500mL bottle: Rich, frothy tan head of two fingers on cloudy brown body. Aroma is floral, malty with bitter flavor foreshadowing. Bitter / rich combination of malts and fuggles or challenger. Bitter finish. I love ESBs in general, this one is in the upper crust.

Bottle 500ml. Pours a rich amber with a bubbly off-white head. Sweet aromas of dark fruits and malts, and a slight background metallic smell. Molasses certainly comes through in the flavour, along with plums, with a good hoppy kick. Reasonable carbonation, finished off by the bottle conditioning. Finishes on a long lingering bitter note. I certainly wouldn’t turn down the offer of another pint!
