It is mild though, with a hoppy finish. Easy drinking beer. Not as good as it’s German competition Spab (299), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 12, 2009 On tap at Twisted Kilt. Pours a clear gold with small white head, some retention. Faint nose of grass, sweeter as it warms. Dry grassy, grainy taste. Crisp finish. Passable, nothing more. bulldogops (159), Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 On tap at Original Joe’s in St. Albert. Clear golden pour with a thick, white foam, decent retention. Aroma is quite weak, corn, grasses, barley, vegetables. Taste is mild sweet malts, but very bland and grainy. Reminds me of Stella Artois (despite stylistic differences). Crisp, refreshing, and smooth tasting, but nothing that leaves you excited. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Nice looking beer pure gold body good crown on top lots of bubble columns floating to the surface. Zero aroma and I mean zero I got nothing here when first poured, I had to wait tell almost end of glass to pick up faint traces of sweet metallic corn but even then it was weak. This beer is yummy I remember drinking this years ago and not enjoying it so either the beer has changed or I have. Refreshing sweet malts, no sourness, no skunk, nice caramel finish and a nice hop presence. Very earthy flavour with mild hints of coffee. Good beer especially for the style. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 4, 2009 On tap. Clear and golden. Head does not last long. Not much aroma. Taste features way to much yeast and faint grassy hops. Watery. Still, it is fairly clean. A little too much carbonation. AaronBouchard (133), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 I’ve only had this in pubs or restaurants, and it goes well with many foods. Colour is a light gold, with a smallish short-lived head, and only a very small lacing. Aroma is subdued and clean. Taste is smooth and refreshing.
