Commercial Description:
Our India Pale Ale is a copper-coloured, medium-bodied ale with a distinctive hop aroma. It is brewed in strict adherence to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Okanagan Spring Brewery's IPA is a tribute to the great IPA's brewed in the 1800's for shipment far across the ocean to British troops stationed in India.

On tap. Smell of light herbal hops and sweet malts. Brown sugar taste with a light dry finish. Good for thirst.

Really....REALLY! This a pale ale? Copper color and clear. Smells like grass and grain but taste is non-compelling blend of light sweet malt and straw, hop and citrus character are after-thoughts. Not unpleasant, but thin mouthfeel. More like pale lager than ale. Not impressed.

Had in bottle , I expected this to be your typical super hopped IPA but I thought it was nice because it was mild in hops and had sweet notes on the aftertaste

Cask @The Sandmans Bar, Vancouver. Vibrant bronze coloured beer with a gently hopped aroma and a gently hopped and bitter flavour. Overall an average and OK beer.

On tap at l’Autre Oeil (Gatineau - Aylmer). Limpid amber body with low carbonation and a thin off-white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar hints. Average taste is dominated by maltiness and ends with a short bittersweet finish. Fair "everyday" Ale.

On tap in rennaisance hotel Toronto. Golden brown body, off white small head. Aroma: grassy malt with lemon notes. Flavour: again grassy and creamy with a somewhat malt finish. Not impressive.

Draft. Pours orange with an off white head. Sweet caramel like aroma. Flavor has caramel as well as grassy/floral hops. Nice.

6/6/08 on draught at the Stickey Wicket, Victoria, BC. Aroma is sticky sweet with very low hop flora. Appearance is clear gold with a well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward with moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is medium low bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, a very simple, but easy drinking brew.
