Pours deep, almost black, with slight red edges. A big, frothy, light-beige head - fine creaminess. Settles as a few millimeters. Super aroma with good, balanced smoke, dark chocolate and softly roasted. Low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Wonderfully balanced smoky flavour, dry cocoa and a long, lingering aftertaste with mild bitterness. Great! TET (249), Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Okells Aile is almost black beer with thin brown head. Aroma is pleasant and there can find roastines, sourness and coffee. Flavour is quite pleasant and balanced even that roastiness dominates the flavour. Quite easy to drink but nice, anyway, despite of low alcohol procents. Nice porter but there should be something more than dominating roastiness. Ethereal (1707), London, Greater London, England

Very dark brown with a tan head, this has a very distinctive smoky aroma. Lots of spices and dark malt flavours but the palate is a bit light. An interesting smoky porter, but not one of my faves. liinis (722), Helsinki, Finland
