Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Burnished gold with no head. Toffee, butterscotch right from the off, with a sweet, sickly malt background. little else apart from that, I really didn’t like this one and couldn’t finish the pint.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark golden beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a slightly bitter finish. Kind of boring.

Copper beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma with some caramel and some apple. Dry malty flavour, quite thin and watery.

Hazy amber pour wearing a fair white cover. Sand, wet earth and lightly toasted maltiness form most of the aroma. It’s only in mouth that the mellow orangey hops make a serious appearance, closing the portrait as every other flavour go home. Simple and straightforward. Light-medium bodied, soft carbonation.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Unclear to hazy amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, light to moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask, GBBF 2007. Slightly cloudy golden, thin white head. Nose is light, fruity citrus hop and some yeast. Mouth is quite watery, inoffensive hop mix with some sweet malt hints. Finishes low-key and watery bitterness.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF2007. A copper coloured beer. The aroma is unfresh apple skins. The taste is fruity and a little malty, but the appley flavours return and spoil the party.
