Commercial Description:
Bottled. Filtered and force-carbonated.<br /> "Dr Okells is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."

Bottled. Hazy orange with a small and firm, white head. Dry aroma; pepery and perfume. Fresh and light-bodied. Late rather harsh bitterness.

Bottle. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Pretty boring IPA, but probably a good session beer.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a foamy white head. Aroma is sweet and hay-like with little apparent hoppyness. Taste is only lightly bitter, but still well-rounded.

(Bottle) Pours golden orange. Spicy and citrusy hops are up front in the aroma with tones of orange, Seville oranges, grapefruit and lemon. Also some floral notes and grass. Malt brings toffee as well as some butter and maybe a light touch of caramel. Some malty sweetness in the beginning of the flavour. The finish is more hoppy but light and balanced with a citric touch. Light and clean but maybe a bit buttery mouthfeel. Tiny dryish. Light body. Not to complex but good.

(Bottle BB 28/12/07) Citrus fruity and slightly flowery aroma. Golden colour, slightly hazy and average size, slightly lasting, white, thick head with good lacing. Citrus fruity, slightly bitter, slightly flowery and malty flavour. Medium-bodied and softly carbonated palate. OK bitter but nothing special! 25/04/07
