Commercial Description:
Bottled. Filtered and force-carbonated.<br /> "Dr Okells is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."

Nice hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma has hops and fruits. The taste is gently bitter and hoppy with some citrus flavor. Not bad at all.

Bottle, 500ml. A murky yellow colour with a huge foaming head. Aroma is citrus with a little hoppiness and yeast. Taste is a bit weak with some hoppiness, caramel and biscuit. Slightly sweet. A moderately bitter finish with citrus. Moderate carbonation. A good bitter, but nothing special.

Bottle, picked up at Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbott 14-11-06. Golden in colour, whilst there were hops obviously present throughout, it wasn’t not as hoppy as I was hoping for. This was fine enough but ultimately a bit unexciting.

Bottle, 4.5%. Rough, citric hop aroma. Hazy golden colour. Lots of flavour hops. High bitterness, which gets a bit sour after a while.

[Bottled. SBWF, Stockholm] Dark golden colour. Fruity, piney nose along with flowers and herbs. Bit fatty in a sense. That is big-ish. Smooth, light body with fruits and piney hops and a grassy bitterness.

Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear dark golden with a rich cotton-like head. Fruity and hoppy aroma of Seville oranges and flowers. Seville oranges in flavour with touches of minerals and flowers with a hoppy finish of grass and lemon. A bit watery.
