Commercial Description:
Bottled. Filtered and force-carbonated.<br /> "Dr Okells is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."

[Sampled with the duo: Svoger & Svogergylp on Orø.] With a nice hazy golden look and fast offwhite head. Medium bitter mainstream IPA, but very drinkable. Citrusy and fruity flavor with acceptable hops around and very ok in the heat.

Bottle: A bit unclear, golden, smaller, stable off-white head; distinctive flowery hoppy aromas cover a fruity-grainy, almost a bit toasty background; moderate to solid dry bitter flavour, light bodied; flowery-citrousy hops in the light dry bitter flavour. Not earth-shaking, but a good one............

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Almost clear yellow body. Sweet and fruity aroma but with a nice hint of hops. Wauw impressive that a beer of this alcohol strength can be this tasty. Barley malt at the front followed by a good hops bitterness. Low carbonation and a long aftertaste. Mates: Your ratings are too low !

Clear golden yellow with a frothy white head that leaves generous lace. Perfumey fruity aroma. Clean honey-malt palate with lovely perfumey fruit (lychee, citrus) hop character. A terrific example of the English-style IPA!

From Utobeer. Golden body with decent head. Malty nose with citrus. Nice hoppy taste, with grapefruit notes, then gets maltier. Bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bottle. Looks like a pale lager. Malty aroma. Tastes exactly as expected for an english IPA/ bitter.
