Jan 4, 2009 Updated: Jan 13, 2009Bottle, Shamesburys, Upton. Poured a clear straw gold, with a fairly small white head. Nice hoppy and grapefruit aroma. Fresh, clean taste with the same characteristics as the aroma and a lingering dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely balanced and pretty tasty. Went a treat with a quarter of crispy duck and pancakes.

Dec 31, 2008 50 cl bottle at home - bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Clear golden color, fine white head. Aroma is fruity and citric with hoppy notes. Flavor has hoppy bitterness, sweet malt, fruit. Refreshing and nice bitter.

Dec 31, 2008 Thx for a great tasting, Kim Johansen... it will never be the same again :-) Hazy golden w tiny head. Floral hoppy aroma with notes of fruit and spices. caramel develops in mouth. Flavour is sweet with a long mild bitter finish.

Dec 30, 2008 500ml bottle. A pale, yellowish bitter with some light, mildly lemony hop notes. A short of lagerish bitter really. Like so many of these golden lager/ales that British brewers are doing at the moment. It’s drinkable and refreshing, and there’s little to find offensive about it.
