Poured a clear straw gold, with a fairly small white head. Nice hoppy and grapefruit aroma. Fresh, clean taste with the same characteristics as the aroma and a lingering dry hoppy bitter finish. Nicely balanced and pretty tasty. Went a treat with a quarter of crispy duck and pancakes. tarjei (1754), Bryne, Norway

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2008 500ml bottle. A pale, yellowish bitter with some light, mildly lemony hop notes. A short of lagerish bitter really. Like so many of these golden lager/ales that British brewers are doing at the moment. It’s drinkable and refreshing, and there’s little to find offensive about it.
