Commercial Description:
Bottled. Filtered and force-carbonated.<br /> "Dr Okells is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."

500ml bottle A good IPA but not amongst the best. I was perhaps expecting a bit much(see rating on Okells aile) But still it is enjoyable.

Københavnske Øldage 07. Bottle. Golden and hazy. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, citrus and the flavour is fruity, citrussy with a little maltiness and a nice, dry bitterness. It’s not an overwhelming IPA, but very British. 2152

Bottled. Clear golden coloured, small white head. Pleasant hoppy nose, some fruity notes. Bitter flavour, slight sweetness. Typical British IPA. Thanks to caesar for bringing this one.

Very clear golden brew, well-carbonated, with just off-white head. Toasted, or pre-sliced bread; warm malts, then fresh garden herbs and lunaria . In the taste, first a dull, sweet impression, alleviated by some grassy hopsflavour, but qutie subdued, a bit dull after all. Toasted again too. Medium bodied, ending a bit empty. Okells must be the only brewery in my knowledge, managing to make a wheatbeer that is more interesting than their IPA!

Golden ale, pleasing zingy hops here, but not as strong or as highly hopped as I think an IPA should be. The flavour had the character of a cask ale, usually absent in bottled British ales.

Bottle. pale blonde. Grapefruit and hops in the aroma. Grapefruity and flowery hopbitter flavor. Earthy hopbitter aftertaste with a hint of vanila. A bit sharp but well balanced ale.
