Commercial Description:
Bottled. Filtered and force-carbonated.<br /> "Dr Okells is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."

0,5 litre bottle. Rocky head over pale beer. Fine hoppiness, pines, resin, citrus. Refreshing, nice beer.

Dry, bitter, hoppy. A little sweetness, perhaps, but this beer should be dry. Rather splendid ale, what! I like mine cold for the bitterness, but let it approach manor temperature, as I sit and watch the huntsmen ready their steeds. Good luck, friends! What better ale to sip in the study, contemplating the history of one’s estate. Seventy-nine pence at Home Bargains, so affordable to the working man! Bravo, I say!

Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Rich citrus aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Juicy and freshly hoppy. Flavourful and very drinkable. An excellent IPA!

A wonderfull full bodied IPA with hops dominating.Perhaps more like an American IPA than a traditional British version. Plenty of depth and body especially for a 4.5 per center.Lovely-try it if you get a chance.

Orange clearly color, much limpid and with a light and imperceptible fizz. Modest and of short duration foam. Extremely pleasant, fresh and fruity scent: juicy notes of small fruits, intense hoppy and caramel malts smells. Soft taste, decided but not excessive. Medium body with discreet alcoholic perception. Bitter/sweetish end, a lot balanced and persistent.
Thanks to mabjork for this excellent beer.

50cl bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, wee white head. Fresh fruit (lemon and ginger) on the nose, with a healthy hoppy background. Same lemony touch on the palate, but it’s the hops that dominate. Lasting bitter finish and after taste. This is a characterful, straightforward IPA that will undoubtedly please fans of this particular style - which includes me. ;=)

Rated @ Stockholm beer festival. Clear golden, with a small dying head. Hoppy aroma with that typical citrus flavour you get with vast amounts of dry hops. A bit more malt would make this beer super.

500 ml bottle, bought at ICA Middelthon, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, big white head. Fairly strong aroma of hops, first flowery, then more citrussy and lightly spicy. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with grapefruity notes, and has just enough malts to balance it. Pleasant (if somewhat sharp) bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. I don’t know which variety(ies) of hops they have used here - possibly Progress? A nice and refreshing ale this one - will buy again.
