Gravity dispense at the Miners’ Arms Summer Beer Festival, St Werburghs Bristol 6/8/07. Golden colour with a minimal head. Sweet malt aroma with a touch of spicy hops. Flavour started sweet with a grassy hop finish. Not bad.

Vegetably smell. Classic bitter, very bitter, English ale. Well balanced, but predominantly bitter. And enough malt so you don’t get bored of the bitterness.

Bottle @ Copenhagen Øl Festival. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spar lacing. Clear flat golden colour. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, elderflower, liquorish, caramel. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light bitter notes with some sweetness. Dry and bitter finish.

[CASK: The Salisbury Ale House, Manchester 19/09/06] A nice refreshing IPA and a generous %. A satisfying ale that did’t disappoint.

Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Fruity and zesty nose with a little straw - nice fresh rounded hoppy aromas. Gentle malt sweetness combines well with the full mouthfeel and relaxed bitterness. Very drinkable and improves with quantity consumed.
