500 ml bottle. Clear pale yellow colour, thin white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma. The flavour is malty at first but citrus fruits and crisp bitter hops quickly take over. Medium to thin-bodied. Refreshing and easy to drink, but not very interesting.

Bottle. Wheat beer? Hell no! Anonymous clear golden color. No head. Almost no aroma at all, some hops. Hoppy flavor, kind of nice, but it dies immediately. This beer has a lot of weaknesses but it’s still very refreshing.

50 cl bottle at home, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Clear golde color, moderate and disappering white head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy. The flavor is hoppy with some malty sweetness, a bit citric and fruit, and has a bitterness that reminds me more of a pilsener than a wheat.

500 ml bottle, bought at ICA Middelthon, Stavanger (also available at Vaaland, Bryne). ABV is 4.4%. Crystal clear pale golden colour (like a pilsener), big to moderate white head. The aroma is hoppy with grassy and citric notes. Refreshing hoppy flavour, ending in a grapefruity and slightly resinous bitterness, there is some malty sweetness but it is quite subdued. I thought the cask version had more of a wheaty character than the bottle. Well, the bottles are pasteurised, so that probably explains it. More of a "well hopped pilsener" character here. Not bad though.

(50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg) On November 28, 2008. BB 28 Nov 08 (about time then :D) Hazy golden color, big white head. Fruity, smooth, sweet, floral scent. Bitter, a bit sweet, mostly dry, herval taste. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium low bitterness. Says on the bottle it’s a wheat beer, guess it’s wheat malt in it, no wheat yeast characteristics at all though.

500 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden color, pillowy white head. Fruity, spicy aroma. Surprisingly bitter flavor with bright spices, wheaty finish. The ratebeer.com classification of golden ale / blond ale is closer to the truth than the ’’Wheat beer’’ I was expecting from the label.
