Amber with a small white head. Very faint malt in the aroma. Taste is earthy and nutty with a little grass in the aftertaste and a mid bitter finish. This was very lively, which detracted from its appeal. Nevertheless an elderly gentleman opined that it was the only decent beer in the pub, and he may have had a point.
