Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - available December. Previously brewed at 5%.

A full bodied dark colored beer with an aroma of fruit and malt leading to a complex sweet, fruit palate followed by a drying after-taste.

Golden Promise/Triumph pale malts (89%), crystal malt (9%), invert sugar. Fuggles and Target bittering hops, Goldings aroma hops - pellets. OG 1050. 44 iBU. 66 EBC colour units.

Draught @ Brew Wharf Yard, Stoney Street, Southwark , Greater London, England SE1 9AD.
Light light unclear medium amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, berry, vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, bitter and light sour with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090102]

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 Jan 2009) Reddish brown colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and dusty hops. Malty, nutty taste with notes of chocolate, dark fruit, dates and dusty hops in the finish. Some fruity sweetness throughout. Medium bitterness, medium body. Well balanced and tasty winter beer.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a haxy amber colour with a small tan coloured film. Soily and orangey hops in the aroma with notes of cinnamon and nuts. Medium-bodied with notes of nuts, juniper, toasted malts, ornage-peels and grass. Bright medium-bitter finish of juniper, earht and, grass. orange-peels. Well-made and charming and in good condition as well,

<i>Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. </i> Amber colour. Appley and caramelly. Medium sweet and medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel, notes of egg and broccoli. Sligh tresiny bitterness. Drinkable but not great.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough Market. Reddish amber. Bubbly off whtie head. Decent bitter, bit sweet maybe, some herbyness on finish. Decent sweetish red fruits. Sweet strawberry.

Cask Tillys Newcastle Upon Tyne. Dark reddy brown colour with minimal head. Yeast and malt in the nose. Trace fruit and hop in the flavour but very drab and insipid stuff. Pretty tedious xmas fayre.

Cask in tennents bar. Alround rating : Fruity, bittering hop, biscuity malts, hints of spice. I sat across from niel lennon while i drank this, but wasnt pished enough to go chat with him.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Pigs Ear.
Reasonable copper colour. Rather too yeasty in the aroma. Much to yeasty in the mouth. Tastes like it isn’t quite ready yet. Fruity finish with some light tobacco notes and eventual bitterness. Blah, blah, blah...
