Dark reddy brown colour with minimal head. Yeast and malt in the nose. Trace fruit and hop in the flavour but very drab and insipid stuff. Pretty tedious xmas fayre. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Jan 3, 2008 Cask in tennents bar. Alround rating : Fruity, bittering hop, biscuity malts, hints of spice. I sat across from niel lennon while i drank this, but wasnt pished enough to go chat with him. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Dec 18, 2007 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Pigs Ear. Reasonable copper colour. Rather too yeasty in the aroma. Much to yeasty in the mouth. Tastes like it isn’t quite ready yet. Fruity finish with some light tobacco notes and eventual bitterness. Blah, blah, blah...
