tasted in rigby’s pub in liverpool. fantastic dark ruby colour, fine white head with good lacing in the glass. a fine sweetness in the background which is swallowed up by the malt, warming finish, quite dry, pretty much an ideal winter brew

Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. Fruity malt aromas with some pleasant yeast in the background. Moderately sweet up front - initially hides the thin body leading to a clean refreshing finish.
