Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - available June to August.
A light colored, refreshing Summer Wheat beer. A distinct aroma of vanilla with an initial burst of sweetness complimented by a subtle banana flavor with a hint of lemon followed by a complex dry finish which says "Get me another".

1. Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Kensington Olympia 02/08/2001 Golden coloured slightly gassy aroma. Full hop finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Bar Fringe, Manchester 18/07/2005 Golden coloured fruity and hoppy. Crisp slightly dry lasting malt finish.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with light caramel notes. The flavor is sweet and with a hoppy dry end - my guess is Goldings hops. The body is thin.

Cask (gravity dispense) at the Olde Dolphin Inn summer beer festival, Derby. OK. Who stole the wheat? Even subtler than other ’wheats’, this pulls off a great balance and a hefy hop touch to the finish.

Grainy malts, lemon-lime citrus hops in the nose. Clear orange-copper coloured body with low white head that diminishes to ring. Grainy malts and citrus hop character with fair finishing bitterness that lasts on the tongue. Light body with fair carbonation. Cask at GBBF 2005.

Beer No 4 on the Wilsons’ Road Trip 2005. Cask at The Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Yellowish blond. Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Good body, excellent hoppy finish. Nice one.

Cask (GBBF): Yellow/gold in colour. Mildly fruity nose. Sweet honey and fruits in flavour. Medium bodied. ok.

Cask@GBBF 05’. Boring golden ale. Grainy texture, sweetish, malty, not much flavour, can’t really say too much about it. Dull.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005 A golden coloured beer again spoiled by diacetyl in both the aroma and taste. The aroma is also on the sweet side and there is some hoppiness in the taste. Didn’t get any wheat character at all.
