Pale gold colour, bit of hay in the aroma. Hops are dominant which increase in flavour as the beer goes on. As we had so many of this style of beer it can become difficult to distinguish but this one I did like and found it very drinkable chriso (4851), London, Greater London, England

Good, crisp finish. Not much obvious wheat presence but, overall, I was quite impressed. Cask (handpump), The Society Rooms (JDW), Maidstone, Kent.

A slightly unusual one this - pale yellow haziness, masks a mixed up flavour: some malt sweetness and hop bitterness with moments of cheesy biscuit dryness. Clean and fresh with a reasonable balance. It's OK. imdownthepub (5172), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Strange wheat beer to me, overwhelmingly caramel with some vanilla. Interesting enough but a little odd. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England

Orange-amber session bitter - not in ideal condition; a sort of murky rancid butter flavour. Light bodied, medium palate with an earthy English hops finish. A little green apple fruit (possibly more from the condition than the brewer’s intention). Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2003 Luminescent yellow-golden with a bit of head, soon gone, so that it looks like a glass of cider. Good, solid presence of English hops in the aroma, much more mild hop flavor, moderated by some candy-like and fruit flavors. Very gentle palate, low carbonation but with a malt backbone to compensate. A bit chalky and tacky. Dry, with a hint of grapefruit in the finish. Well balanced and drinkable, gentle. While I was enjoying this a cat came by. Bastard had a tail. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Sampled at the pub at the end of the Manx Electric Railway station in Laxey.
