Dry hoppy finish. (Cask - The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club, King’s Lynn, Norfolk).

A golden coloured beer spoiled by diacetyl in both the aroma and taste. The aroma is also on the sweet side and there is some hoppiness in the taste. Didn’t get any wheat character at all..

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Cask at Bree Louise. Very pale golden beer with a creamy white head. Nice bright citrusy aroma. Lemon, orange and tropical fruits. Lightly spicy malty character, quite wheat on the nose. Flavour is light and citrusy with a fresh grassy/spicy hoppiness. The challengers in here are quite expressive with a nice orange peel and soft spiciness that accents the lemony spicy wheat. Very pleasant pint. fonefan (11822), VestJylland, Denmark

Not especially flavoursome straight up but in the mouth there are pleasant leafy piney hops which lead into quite a tangy bitter finish. Pretty good but not really your usual wheat beer. A good clean citrus fruit aroma. The palate is smooth at first, then a light bitterness comes through. There was a slight soapiness to the light fruit flavour though. dnas2 (655), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Cask handpump (no sparkler) at The White Horse, Harborne, Birmingham. Copper with a decent sized foamy head. Oranges and apples in the scent. Slight fizz in the mouth; sweet at first then very bitter with a dry finish. Slightly watery. Very full of hops with a hint of cereal malts. Spoilt by a metallic/chemical aftertaste which became apparent after a few mouthfulls. Good, simple but refreshing.
