Light to medium bodied with somewhat soapy mouthfeel. Mildly malty, dominated by hazelnuts with some strawberries coming through. Salty bitterish finish. Rather simple, but definitely worthwile.

Slightly rancid aroma, a bit like one of my less well made homebrews when I was at uni. After that there’s quite a wave of booze. Strong cardboard, green apple and peardrops in the mouth. Very metallic hoppy finish, some astringent saccharine. Not one of the better krepkoes. It’s possible to fight past some of the nastiness and begin to ignore it, but I did find this quite a struggle. Thanks anyway, Serge, it was an eye-opener. You win some, you lose some. stchloe (492), Portland, Oregon, USA

Cheap drunk if you can keep it down. Perfect of drunken stumbling around town. Tasts like sock. TBone (6801), Pori, Finland

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This $1.99 bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty mild hop lagerish and grassy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow vinous aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops vinous and yeast. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
