Spab (236), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 30, 2009 500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear gold with decent white head; modest retention. Sweet malt and grass in the nose. Taste starts with sweet malt and dry, grassy hops but gives way to a stronger sweet alcohol kick. Syrupy mouthfeel. Nothing special. kseecs16 (865), Naperville, Illinois, USA Oct 23, 2009 Bottle. Basic bland sweet grainy malt aroma. A whiff of spicy hops. Pours crystal clear golden with a thin wispy white head. Light flavor with a hint of grassy hops and a slight cloying sweet finish. Light body, little lingering flavor, highly carbonated.

DJMonarch (6036), Northwich, Cheshire, England Aug 8, 2009 500ml Bottle at the Penny Black JDW, Northwich 22/07/2008
Hop aroma. Some carbonation. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish. MrRoss (614), Delta, British Columbia, Canada Aug 2, 2009 A pleasant surprise, pouring a nice gold colour with a frohty white (short-lived) head. Aroma and taste were clean and crisp, both showing some hops. A nice beer. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Jul 27, 2009 Bottle @ local off-license. Pale golden colour, disappearing white head. Aroma has stale lager malts, hint of hops. Flavour has bitter hops, malts, metallic. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Jul 26, 2009 Pour is a bright gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is of some straw and pale malts. Flavor is crisp and clean with some pils malts with a dry finish and not much else. A decent eastern euro lager and better than most although zywiec seems to be the locals beer of choice.
