Sweet and somewhat minor herbal aroma. Flavour is soft and sweet malty, no caramel, just plain medium sweet malt. Ends without much bitterness. Good. Aroma was weak, but mostly skunk. Pour was a light gold with no head at all. Lightly carbonated. Taste was lager-like with barely any hops and just a bit of light malt in the beginning. I went to a bottleshop that I’ve never been to and this was one of the only beers they had that I haven’t tried and that is the only reason I bought it. Never again. theviolet (169), New York, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Very light, slightly skunky aroma. Appearance is light gold with a fizzy white head that lasts. Nice sweet flavor, but not overly sweet. Good balance in the carbonation, could use some more hops. Not bad tho. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 30, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Clear plae yellow under a small white head. Light grain aroma, hops are very faint to absent. Light body, medium effervescence, and a somewhat thin, fading mouthfeel, although it is clean. The flavor shows a sweet grainy character, but there is a balance from some light hop bitterness. larsga (2978), Oslo, Norway

Dry hoppy rubbery taste, kind of sharp mouthfeel, with papery malty notes. Dry grassy malty aftertaste. Dull. (0.3l draft on Rynek in Krakow.) DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 29, 2007 09-Dec-06 (500 ml bottle: $1.99 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) What seems to separate this pale lager from most other Eastern European offerings is the noticeable spiciness on the tongue from the hops. The underlying grainy, adjuncty, mildly sweet flavor isn’t all that pleasant, but the lightly bitter hops occupies most of my attention and the overall impression isn’t bad. The nose is your typical pale lager: grain, adjuncts and a hint of corn, but is at least inoffensive. Light-medium in body with high carbonation, the spiciness also aids in keeping the palate at least somewhat refreshed, though obviously a little hoppy bitterness would work better. Dark straw in color and almost perfectly clear, I’m very impressed by the quantity and persistence of the rising carbonation streams. The white head only rises to perhaps half an inch, but because of the carbonation, it holds a thin layer atop the beer for the entire session. Not a great beer, but I could see myself enjoying this in the right circumstance. jhliesen (406), West Melbourne, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Bottle--Light yellow color with a large frothy, white head that doesn’t stick around. You had to go looking for the aroma, but once found it had some hops and grass. The taste was light on the flavor with the grain taste favoring over the hops. The finish was thin.
