Poured an enticing, sparkling sunny gold with a huge flurry of bubbles bursting out to a mostly lasting white pad of foam that managed a little lace. Lightly grassy, ’typically Euro lager’ nose with a light sweet grainy note to balance; very clean! Lightly corny sweet, honey-like malts fill the palate quite well, and join some spicy, oddly fruity flavours at the back of the tongue. Finish is quite dry and lightly bitter, showing little length and remaining quite crisp for the remainder. Without the odd drying feel prior to the swallow it was a little sweet and unbalanced. Easily drinkable, one dimensional lager and actually one of Poland’s better pale’s. Sessionable!!! (33cL, 12/09/06) Bart (1648), Brussels, Belgium

Slightly bitter smell, however I have a cold and I can’tt smell well. Somewhat sweet with a real bitter hop finish. There is a hint of something else but can’t put a finger on it. This seems like an every day drinker over in Poland, however a pretty good beer. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 25, 2005 Bottle - malty with some spiced hops coming through in the aroma. Pale yellow with a white head ... looked like Bud Light. Tastes better than Bud Light, not saying much. Very cornlike sweetness here. Pretty thin palate. Not great. pintbypint (1007), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Fairly malty flavour profile too, with faint hops. Surpringly not overcarboanted. Not bad. NJBeerman013 (778), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

This beer has a bit more color than most and a little stronger flavor. A grainy, malt/alcohol flavor is prevelant. All in all, quite enjoyable though. harrisoni (6800), Ashford, Kent, England

Ever since I was in Warsaw a couple of weeks ago I have developed a soft spot for Polish beers. Even their mass produced premium lagers. This is golden with a thin white head. Quite a nice malt nose with some golden syrup. Very carbonated. Doesn’t fall into the dead malt feel of most lagers of this type. Trev (872), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 5, 2005 From the bottle: Poured a light gold with medium fading head. Aroma is fresh and herbal with a mellow skunkiness to it. Slightly sweet (corn) smelling as well.
Taste was crisp and clean, some malty sweetness in the middle leading to a slightly bitter finish. Ppretty standard with a bit of lemony sourness.
Somewhere between the maltiness of a German Pils and the skunky bitterness of a Bohemian/Czech. Pleasing enough but nothing special.
