From the bottle: Poured a light gold with medium fading head. Aroma is fresh and herbal with a mellow skunkiness to it. Slightly sweet (corn) smelling as well. Taste was crisp and clean, some malty sweetness in the middle leading to a slightly bitter finish. Ppretty standard with a bit of lemony sourness. Somewhere between the maltiness of a German Pils and the skunky bitterness of a Bohemian/Czech. Pleasing enough but nothing special.

The taste seemed weakened or watered down. I detected a somewhat malty graininess that is watered down. It has that "amber" quality.

Bottled. Gold coloured lager which pours with absolutely no head. The aroma is sweet, malty and a little greasy. The taste is is also sweet and a little lemony. Not a bad mouthfeel if a little buttery.

Bottle (5.5%): Clear gold with an inviting white head. Very subtle but well crafted aroma of fresh cut grass, flowers, and a touch of lemon zest. I’m reminded of a cool sunny day after some rain. Some light coloured, slightly eggy malts plod along underneath. In the mouth this dissapoints - a little stale, slightly over carbonated, and with a cardbaord like bitterness. There’s some refreshing juicy malts and a little citric hop flavour but not enough to break through.

This was the last beer in a long Sunday session and my senses were quite jaded by this point, so I can’t be absolutely accurate with my rating. I seem to remember it being quite full bodied and fairly malty...can’t recall much in the way of aroma (pub WAS smoky so no surprise there). Other than the initial maltiness I couldnt detect any other flavours. I should perhaps rerate at some point.

Bottled. Dark golden colour with small white bubbly head. Flowery malty aroma with hints of hops. Flavour is sweet and hoppy. Really horrible and unbalanced. Unpleasant.

Sampled from bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thin, white head and nice lacing. Aroma is sweet and has notes of clover-honey. Flavor is balanced and clean with just a hint of noble hops and some tartness. Light bodied and well-carbonated. Not a bad lager per se, but not worth the trouble to import from half-way around the world.

Golden with a big, white, soapy head that lasted. Aromas were peppery & dry, slightly nutty and a little burnt. Low diacetyl notes. Bittersweet flavor ending on the sweet side. I’ve had this on several occasions in the past and I know it made a better impression. Maybe you simply shouldn’t pay that close attention to it.
