Not much aroma to speak of. Clear yellow apperance with no head. Very light malt flavour. Slight fizzy palate. Very forgetable.

11 Nov 2004 - Simplistic light sweet hop, slight earthiness. Good head, bubbles quickly diminish, golden clear colour. Light simplistic, very ordinary hop, in a word tasteless. Light mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Strong malty aroma, slightly dark appearance both highlight this pils. A few weird notes in the finish mar the taste of an otherwise enjoyable brew. Noticeable hops a plus. Enjoyable with dinner in an authentic polish restaurant.

Medium sized frothy head. Nice deep golden hue. Aroma is stinky socks with some celery and tomatoes. The taste is dry with carrots and some bread. Slightly spicy finish of clove. This is decent. Would be best when very cold.

Spare a thought for us in Australia. Okocim makes one of the world’s great Baltic porters, so naturally our local importers ship in.... this. And to clear up any confusion about the bottle’s mysterious contents, Carlsberg has rebranded it "Okocim... Beer". Thanks Carlsberg - mystery solved. Says on the bottle it’s brewed to "a unique Polish recipe", which is odd because you’ve tasted this a hundred times before. Intense gold colour, scant head. Some citric hops in a very light malty aroma. Thin and clean-tasting. In fact, it’s virtually a taste vacuum. A little sweetness, not much else. Please send us the porter. Please.... (Bottle)

Closer to an eastren european pilsner then a westren. Good, sapid, enjoyable.

Flat, yellow, slightly skunky, not mellow. Bad batch? Or do all of these random foreign pilsners taste liek this?

Polski Szlachetny Smak - decent for a strong pilsener, although my can had a few impurities.
