Crispy mouthfeel, maybe somehow metallic ending. Enjoyed in restaurant in Krakow, wonder when taps are cleaned… Nice carbonation gives some kick to this bland and watery lager. ogivlado (3088), Zagreb, Croatia

Light golden lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, off-white head. Although this beer reminds me of an American pale lager, there is more to it than anything brewed by BMC. The aroma is herbal and floral. The flavor is well-balanced and full of orange blossom honey and saaz hops. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Medium-length, crisp, clean finish. Thanks to my client, Scott Jackson, for this international brew. Eructoblaster (1507), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Clear golden and carbonated body with a nice fizzy head. Pleasant fresh and malty aroma that carries some hoppy and flowery notes. Taste is mild, hoppy and lightly bready. The final unfortunately lacks some punch and bitterness. Along with Zywiec, the Okocim Pelne is a top-seller in Poland. Not bad at all for a macro pilsner. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Not a lot of visible carbonation. Crisp bitterness with nice spicy hop flavour and decent supporting malt base. Carbonation is perhaps a bit subdued but this is a refreshing pils all the same. Bottle. Thanks Radek. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2004 Pours a medium white head on a clear yellow body. Aroma is typical pilsener-like, malty and hoppy. Flavor is also quite trivial, but maybe a slight deal fuller than a lot of other pilseners. Mostly bitter hoppy with a dry end. A thirst quencher but nothing more! DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England

I’ve had this before in Poland and I remembered it as one of the best of the holiday, but this time it was rather disappointing. Run of the mill in most areas, but with a sickly quality which lingered in the finish, outstaying it’s welcome.
