May 1, 2009 16.9 oz bottle 5/1/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a clear golden with a small covering for a head. Aroma of sweetness and grains. Taste of the same with nothing else. This light bodied brew is not good or bad.

Apr 23, 2009 Bottle from Bevmo; attempting to try all of the cheap beers available there. Color was a dull gold color with an average sized head. Aroma of wet bread, must with a slight touch of sweet malt. Flavor was much sweeter. Very bready with only the faintest hint of earthy hops in the finish. Really nothing bad or that good about it.

Apr 18, 2009 Bottle, 500ml. A pale straw colour with a good head. A straw aroma with hints of caramel and grass. Taste is fairly hoppy with caramel and straw, plus some roasted malt in the background. A touch of barley evident. Almost like there’s a hint of chilli in the finish (something slightly unexpected and unpleasant anyway). Moderate carbonation. Not a bad lager overall.

Apr 5, 2009 [1855-20081112] 500mL bottle. Grainy green twigs aroma is mildly smoky. Clear, light brown orange body with a quick bubbly white head. Grainy yeast flavour has mildly skunky smoke with a mild dry finish. Light-medium body. Bland.
